Danske Bank raises interest rates
With its rate increases on December 2, February 17 and March 3, the Danish central bank has raised the official discount rate by a total of 0.50 of a percentage point and the rate on certificates of deposit by a total of 0.60 of a percentage point.

Consequently, Danske Bank will raise its deposit and lending rates by up to 0.50 of a percentage point with effect from Tuesday, March 7, 2006.
